Eagles Soar (2013) 
31.5 x 21.5 Inspired by a photograph by Tammy Patterson and made for the "Inspirations" exhibit, "Eagles Soar" is entirely pieced using 100 % commercially printed cotton fabrics. Since the photograph was rather plain with only one eagle, I used artistic license to add another and make an interesting sky. To enhance the unusual sky, I used traditonal feather designs in the free motion machine quilting. Machine Pieced, Machine Quilted. Coton commercial prints, various threads.
