As 2007 came to a close, I had already sent in my AQS entry and was just finishing up the top for a Feb. deadline, feeling pretty good about being ahead of schedule. Then I realised that the deadline for IQA&#8217;s Celebrate Spring had somehow escaped being posted to my list of things to do. Yikes! It was in 2 weeks! As I tidied up the mess from the current project my mind was racing. How could I get something done that fast? Probably I couldn&#8217;t &#8211; but maybe.  What if I did a flower, then if it doesn&#8217;t get done in time, I can use it for &#8220;In Full Bloom&#8221; YES!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/01\/celebspr.jpg\" title=\"celebspr\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/01\/celebspr.jpg\" alt=\"celebspr\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Stress and deadlines &#8211; 2008 is starting out with both, but for me that&#8217;s normal!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deadlines rule.
