It’s been a heck of a week! Here’s the short version: Going to town last Friday, the car malfunctioned but since it was still going and we had a dog with us and it was hot we continued on to town. We totally ruined the braking system and had to have the car towed to the garage. They didn’t get to it until Tuesday when we found out that it was going to be quite expensive and a week and a half before it could be fixed. Long story short, we bought another car!<\/p>\n
Then, later that same day my husband fell and after about 8 hours in the ER he was admitted to ICU with spinal cord trauma- nothing broken, thank goodness. Yesterday he was transferred out of ICU and will probably come home today with a neck brace for three weeks. Then they will decide if he will need surgery.<\/p>\n
