These will be for sale at Festival for $20.00 each. Last year if I remember correctly they earned about $20,000.00 for a no kill shelter in Houston and should surpass that this year. I hope lots of people will participate for this worthy cause.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/petpostcards.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2568\" alt=\"petpostcards\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/petpostcards-281x300.jpg\" width=\"281\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/petpostcards-281x300.jpg 281w, https:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/petpostcards.jpg 406w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 281px) 100vw, 281px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These cards were super easy as all I did was to machine quilt the printed fabric and bind them, but i think they came out good.<\/p>\n<p>I got word this morning that my entry to the LaConner Quilt Museum show in WA., &#8220;Foxglove Fairy&#8221; has won an award! I&#8217;m looking forward to this new direction in my workshops as I will be doing one this coming February at <a title=\"Empty Spools\" href=\"http:\/\/www.emptyspoolsseminars.com\">Empty Spools<\/a> in CA., as well!
