The week here at Hudson Valley Art Workshops has just whizzed by. It was great fun and my students outdid themselves with their progress. One finished her top and one nearly did. The class was small but mighty, and I think we all had a good time and learned a lot!<\/p>\n

\"Corinne'sLeaves\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Corinne finished with a day to spare.\u00a0 She considered starting on the quilting, but opted to draft another\u00a0 pattern instead in case she needed help, but she didn’t really.<\/p>\n

\"JeansRedRocks\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Jean’s piece about the Red Rocks near Sedona was quite large and I think she is the first to get this far along on such a big one.\u00a0 She ran short on sky fabrics, knew she had more at home so opted to quit on the last night; otherwise I’ll bet she would have persevered, she was that focused..\u00a0 She had been working nights til about 11! Dedication!! Once it is all sewed together, that little bit of brown in the sky will be part of the mountains.\u00a0 Gonna be beautiful.<\/p>\n

The food here is to die for!\u00a0 I meant to get photos as it is so special. But even on those evenings when I did remember to bring the camera, it looked so good I had already dug in before remembering that I had wanted a picture.\u00a0 This time I asked everyone to help me remember.\u00a0 The Rack of Lamb with Carrots and Napa Cabbage was SO good. And always with some wonderful bread.<\/p>\n

Preceded by a lovely salad with Spring Rolls and followed by this amazing Chocolate Cake.<\/p>\n
