The current show is the annual judged competition with a Kansas theme which has been up for a month, with another month to go. My entry &#8220;After The Storm&#8221; which had already been awarded first place, also received People&#8217;s Choice last night! Always fun when quilted art is recognized\u00a0 amidst the expected fine art offerings.<\/p>\n<p>Since finishing my Figure Drawing homework,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/reclnude.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3329\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/reclnude-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"reclnude\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/reclnude-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/reclnude.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have been able to get back to quilting on the Heron and it is progressing very nicely.
