I had planned on finishing it over the weekend, but did not find the time to do so. Monday I spent most of the day in town, so it didn&#8217;t happen then either.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/GSwtail2.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3510\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3510\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/GSwtail2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"GSwtail2\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/GSwtail2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/GSwtail2.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I barely had time to prepare a drawing for Tuesday&#8217;s portrait painting class.\u00a0 But we spent Tuesday&#8217;s class time looking at videos of excellent portrait painters working.\u00a0 I really enjoyed that!\u00a0 I&#8217;ve never tried to paint a portrait and I need all the help I can get!!\u00a0 The plan for today is to try to paint something, but, among other things,\u00a0 I also have to prepare and ship a quilt, plant two fruit trees and fertilize the roses!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week in my watercolor painting class we were supposed to do flowers.
