This was meant to be published on the 9th&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>Wow, it&#8217;s been a couple of busy weeks since I visited the blog!<\/p>\n<p>I have decided to do some redecorating, so that involves quite a lot of decisions and I am not doing so well. Right now I have 5 tile boards in the living room and I can&#8217;t seem to settle on just one. I want to get rid of the carpet and what I&#8217;d really like is a nice hardwood floor but that is not practical with the big dogs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/twobigdogs.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-992\" title=\"twobigdogs\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/twobigdogs-278x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"278\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/twobigdogs-278x300.jpg 278w, https:\/\/www.ruthpowersartquilts.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/twobigdogs.jpg 418w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 278px) 100vw, 278px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I thought that some sort of stone would be nice and sturdy, but it turns out that is not so. Either it is too soft and would be scratched by the dog&#8217;s big toenails or else it would require a lot of maintenance.  I&#8217;ve been convinced that porcelain tile is the way to go, but which one??????<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OOOPS!!
