Kansas Wildflowers

I thought it might be fun to make a quilt based on Kansas wildflowers, so this morning I picked a sampling of what is blooming now. Even at 9 o’clock it was over 80 and they wilted and some even lost petals even though I did bring a container of water for them!

I guess I will need to stop giving the computer the coolest hours of the day if I am going to get my walking in!

    Sooo glad you have some wildflowers. I was surprised that the poppies are still blooming around Tehachapi – a little late. Hope your no SPAM adjustment continues to work.
