Getting ready
Still no sewing progress to report! I have been sort of busy getting things ready for Market at Houston. Got new business cards. Got new boxes so I can pack. Started packing. Found that I needed to package more patterns to pack. One thing leads to another.
The workshop Saturday was really fun! Collage is not my thing so I was in unfamiliar territory. I had hoped that it would help me to think in a more abstract way but I don’t think it did. This photo shows what I accomplished, but it doesn’t show the different textures very well.
Glossy magazine pictures, fabric, corrugated and tissue papers. The little dot on each one is the hole that the ring goes through to make a book. I think I like the first and the last one best.

I can’t see them well enough to make a judgement, but the last one does look rather special. I’m glad you took the workshop and wish, as always, that I lived closer to you.

My favorites are the lower left and the lower right. Glad you had fun, and thanks for coming to the workshop!

Well the last one, I guess, would be the closest to how I usually work – a rather realistic landscape. The lettering says “Where the wild things are”.
Del, I wish you were closer too. You would have enjoyed the workshop!
Karen – Thank YOU! It was great of you to make the trip and share with us.
