I’ve been wondering why the comments have not been appearing – duh! I have to approve them! Who knew? Sorry about that, someday I will know what I’m doing. Maybe.
Hooray! Yesterday I FINALLY finished the quilting on a rather large piece that seemed to take forever. It is currently being blocked and I hope to get on with the binding later today. It’s about a fire that happened last spring in the historic town of Burlingame , KS. It was inspired by a photo taken by the fire dept, used with permission. No recent pics, but here is an in progress shot.

Well, if you figure out how to make hyperlinks appear as just one word (i.e., here) let me know. I see the icon and fill in the blanks but nothing happens! Ah-h-h-h, the learning curve is steep and the mind is weak. Love the fireman’s watch!

Nita sent me clippings about the fire and how the fabric shop where your quilts are displayed had to be quickly emptied. Can’t wait to see the whole thing!! I wondered why the comments weren’t showing up….I know…you were too busy quilting to approve them!!

Well, it’s weird – today’s comments didn’t need approval – Could it be that the authors were recognized? Who knows.

I noticed last evening that my comment appeared instantly. This is the first place I look in the morning with my cup of coffee in hand. It’s like having coffee with a friend. Did I say I was glad you are blogging???
