Keeping Busy
I started an idea for a new piece Sunday but other things have been occupying me lately so it is just percolating for now. Friday out daughter’s dog, Zeus, lost his battle with bone cancer, and the new piece will feature him along with our other dogs.
Saturday I spent a good portion of the day across the street where there was an auction of the house and goods of the former owner. This is the man who came over and threatened to shoot our dog if he crossed the street – so we are certainly not going to miss him and are hoping for good neighbors for a change!
I have been doing a lot of planting, transplanting and weeding but I’m afraid that I am barely keeping up as the weeds far outnumber the good stuff. It does seem the harder I work the behinder I get!

Ruth – I am sad to learn of Zeus’ death. He had suffered enough though and (as everyone seems to be saying lately) he has gone to a better place. I know he thought he was in the best place at your house – romping with Griff. I’m sorry that I didn’t get a chance to meet him. Love, Del-at-home
