Coneflowers Continued

And here is where we are right now- I hope to finish today!Coneflowers_4

Yesterday’s mail brought acceptance letters for BOTH of my entries to Houston this year! “Mon Grand Pere” and The Merchant’s House” will both be there, (click on Gallery in the side bar to see them) though for the first time in a LONG time, I will not. My travel schedule for the fall makes it impossible this year, but at least I will be represented by my work!

    I keep checking here to see the new cone flower. I like it!!!! Especially like the kittens peering out of the ‘flower bed’. I remember both quilts without looking at the gallery… I must be a fan, because I study your quilts and try to look closely at the fabrics you use to ‘read’ whatever you are portraying in your quilts… does that make sense?? Both of my girls have ordered a coneflower quilt. Nita wants teal blossoms on a tan and brown background and Vette wants deep pinks on green. If I ever get to get back to mine, I’ll email pictures.     Congratulations on two quilts getting in to Houston. I love both of them. You can tell that your quilts are made with love.
