The Week That Was
This time last week one of the dogs was undergoing emergency surgery.

Complications set in and he had to be returned to the hospital for a second procedure where he remains. We hope to get him home today. Five or six back and forth trips to the veterinarian have played havoc with any sort of scheduling!
I did manage to get the Coneflower sample finished and quilted, and the binding done. I finished the hand work on the binding and sleeve while manning the Topeka Art Guild Gallery on Thursday. Since I have three pieces on display there, I am required to volunteer some time each month. It was a very hot day and not very many people ventured in to look at he show, so it was a long and rather boring day!

Gee, Ruth, just two more days and you will be at my guild. Really looking forward to seeing you. I’ve signed up for the two day workshop and wouldn’t you know that our friends from Florida are flying in on Friday. They will go on down to their cabin after picking up bed linens I keep here for them and their old pick up. I’ll have to see them later because I am NOT missing the workshop!!! Gwynette

Ruth – I don’t think I told you that there is a very large blank in your blog – starts at the top. Del

Del, I’m not seeing a large blank here — anyone else see it? Are you getting the picture of the dog?
Welcome, Jenny! Glad you found me!!
